I am a UX researcher and writer focused on products and services that lie at the intersection of physical and mental health.

I have always been drawn to subjects that explore how we find and associate meaning, how we reach decisions, and what drives our behavior.

I gravitate towards activities that involve strengthening the connection between mind and body: martial arts, yoga, meditation, and things of that nature.

I studied Neurobiology in order to understand the physiological processes that underlie our actions. I worked as a medical technician, supporting the healthcare industry from the backend. I focused on employee training, extracting years of tacit knowledge from a range of personalities and synthesizing it into Standard Operating Procedures. My research into instructional design and organizational psychology led me to UX.

In preparation to go deeper into the field of design, I spent 6 months learning the basics of coding, primarily focusing on the C language. I draw upon this experience when working with engineers.

My design approach leverages the work ethic I developed in the healthcare field: a commitment to remaining meticulous, methodical, and mindful of the far-reaching impact of my decisions.
